VISION

“RECON brings security to the edge of the video surveillance network”. As many of us remember, our first PC’s had no protection from spam , viruses or hackers attempting to gain access to our data. That was 15 years ago and today things are very different. Video today is like the PC’s were 15 years ago and security needs to be added to the network to protect the video content. The most common solution being offered in the industry today is to bring the video over the network unprotected and then add protection at a distant location, unfortunately at that point it’s too late, the video payload information has been compromised. RECON’s VPNTV™ approach places the intelligence at the edge of the network. By moving the intelligence to the edge of the network RECON is able to offer a secure distributed video surveillance network with unprecedented flexibility in network connectivity, options unequaled in the industry today.
